of the first things you will notice about the
Women's Cancer Center from the moment you walk
into our lobby is that we are different. From
the friendly greeting you will receive from
our receptionist to our courteous and professional
nursing staff, you will be made to feel comfortable
in this new environment.
It
is certainly our pleasure to meet you, however,
we wish it would have been under different circumstances.
Unfortunately, cancer is not selective, it can
happen to anyone irregardless of age, sex, lifestyle,
or background. Our primary concern is providing
you with the highest quality of care while making
this difficult time for you as comfortable as
possible.
During
your visit you will get to know our highly qualified,
professional nursing staff. They will be there
for you; providing a friendly face, gathering
your medical information, and answering many
of your questions about your treatment and our
procedures. If
you need chemotherapy, you will find our treatment
area offers a very relaxed, homelike atmosphere
- complete with comfortable, reclining chairs.
